Espresso or Fine Grind

Step 1

Clean and dry the filter basket before filling with coffee.

Step 2

For Espresso, use fine or espresso grind. For the best results, we advise grinding coffee just before you brew it. The fresher the grind, the better the taste.

Weigh your coffee, we recommend between 18g of coffee.

Step 3

Tamp the coffee down until it stops giving way under pressure and ensure it is as level as possible.

Step 4

Wipe away any loose grounds from the edge of the basket.

Step 5

Flush water through the head, then attach the filter basket tightly to the machine.

Step 6

A good extraction should take between 20 – 25 seconds and show a light, solid crema on the surface of the espresso.

Step 7

When finished, discard the spent grounds and rinse the filter basket.
